In 1959 Phil Phillips lansa singurul sau hit care se clasa pe pozitia 2 in topul pop, pe prima pozitie in topul rhythm and blues si vindea 1 milion de exemplare. Termenii contractuali nu i-au adus artistului decat 6800 de dolari si nici un alt venit ulterior. Cantecul apare pe coloana sonora a filmului Sea of love din 1989 cu Al Pacino si Ellen Barkin.
