Debuta in muzica la numai 14 ani cu piesa “I confess”. Pe langa cantecele sale cunoscute, ca “Diana” sau “Put your head on my shoulder”, a avut colaborari si a compus melodii pentru artisti ca Tom Jones, Michael Jackson, Frank Sinatra, Adriano Celentano, Celine Dion, Robbie Williams, Elvis Presley, Anka fiind unul dintre cei mai longevivi si prodigiosi oameni de muzica incepand cu anii 1950.

Cantecul “You are my destiny” fost lansat in 1958, o perioada in care Anka, la numai 17 ani, se impusese ca unul din idolii adolescentilor.
Pe 1 iunie, artistul va putea fi vazut in concert la Sala Palatului din Bucuresti incepand cu ora 20:00 intr-un spectacol al muzicii de calitate.

Paul Anka scria “Puppy Love” in 1960, un cantec dedicat partenerei sale la momentul respectiv, Anette Funicello, o actrita si cantareata celebra pentru colaborarea cu casa de filme Walt Disney. A fost unul dintre cele 12 hituri lansate de artist si care au ajuns in primele 10 pozitii ale clasamentelor muzicale.
