Cam asta se intampla si cu Patsy Cline, o voce de aur, care in perioada anilor 1960 era colega de concerte a lui Roy Orbison. She’s got you este o imbinare de country, jazz si pop, careia atunci cand ma gandesc sa-i lipesc o eticheta nu-mi vin in minte decat cuvinte ca “lux, stil, clasa”.

Patsy Cline – Crazy

Willie Nelson compunea cantecul “Crazy” in 1961 si, fiind refuzat de cantaretul country Billy Walker, i-l propune artistei Patsy Cline, un nume deja consacrat la acea perioada. Primele incercari de inregistrare au fost un esec artista afirmand ca piesa este mult prea dificila si abia in a doua saptamana a reusit interpretarea cantecului “Crazy” in forma consacrata, care urma sa devina semnatura muzicala a cantaretei Patsy Cline. Piesa devine apoi un hit international fiind preluat de artisti ca Julio Iglesias, LeAnn Rimes (care castiga un Grammy cu aceasta melodie) sau Shirley Bassey.
