1. Când ai început să scrii online?

Cred ca prin iunie 2009.

2. Ce te motiveaza sa scrii pe blog?

Muzica binenteles. Unii sunt mai atrasi de poezie, altii de pictura, pentru mine muzica e “drogul” meu preferat.

3. Cum reacţionezi la comentarii negative?
Le sterg. Primul comentariu primit a fost de la un manelist care ma intreba daca asta e “grohoteca rock” si-mi recomanda cu caldura cateva linkuri cu manele pe youtube.

4. Care a fost ideea iniţială de la care ai pornit?
In primul rand cand voiam sa ascult o melodie veche nu-mi aminteam nici titlul, nici artistul si asa am decis ca s fac o baza de date cu acele piese si care sa fie utila si altora interesati de acest subiect.

5. Ce fel de linkuri ţii în blogroll?
Cele mai tari linkuri.

6. Cum te-a schimbat pe tine blogul?
Nu prea imi tin socoteala evolutiei asa ca nu-mi dau seama. Sunt mai putin stresat atunci cand caut un cantec vechi.

7. Ce aşteptări ai în viitor de la blogul tău?
Pot sa spun ca mi-a depasit asteptarile.

8. Cât despre cititorii/vizitatorii acestui blog?
Probabil buni cunoscatori si iubitori ai muzicii si sper sa le fie utila colectia aceasta de melodii.

Cum suntem intr-o perioada mai speciala cred ca acest moment muzical este binevenit. In 2007 Jerry Lee Lewis a sustinut un concert fabulos prin piesele alese, calitatea interpretarii si invitatii pe care i-a avut in acel spectacol. Au fost pe scena cu Jerry Lee Lewis: Tom Jones, Chris Isaak, Norah Jones, Willie Nelson, Kid Rock, Kris Kristofferson, Ivan Neville, Ronnie Wood (Rolling Stones), Don Henley (Eagles), John Fogerty (Creedence Clearwater Revival).
Am ales din concertul “Last Man Standing Live” o piesa lansata in 1951 de Johnny Ray, un mega succes la acel timp atat in topuri cat si la vanzari. Este piesa “Cry” cantata in 2007 de o legenda a rock and roll-ului, Jerry Lee Lewis, in duet cu Chris Isaak.

Daca tot am amintit de atatea vedete adunate la un loc as dori sa aduc vorba de un site romanesc, pe care eu l-am descoperit chiar azi si care promite foarte mult. Este vorba de Truemusic, in blogroll apare cu titlul “Recomandari muzicale”, si isi propune sa aduca in prim plan muzica buna din toate timpurile si din toate genurile muzicale. Aruncati un ochi pe acolo si sunt sigur ca titlurile o sa va atraga imediat atentia.

In 1956 Jerry Lee Lewis lansa piesa “Lewis Boogie” un nou hit in stilul sau consacrat. A fost considerat prima figura salbatica a curentului rock and roll. La unul din concertele sale si-a incendiat pianul ca protest pentru faptul ca onorariul sau era mai mic decat cel al lui Chuck Berry.
In ciuda faptului ca era recunoscut ca un crestin practicant a declansat unul dintre marile scandaluri din lumea muzicii cand in 1958 mariajul cu verisoara sa de 13 ani a devenit public, fapt ce a dus la banarea artistului in mass media americana si implicit la distrugerea carierei artistului pe o perioada de 10 ani.

Cred ca melodia “Great Balls of Fire” este reprezentativa pentru era rock and roll, de aceea am ales-o ca prima postare in acest videoblog. Cantecul apare in filmul Jamboree din 1957, film dedicat muzicii rock and roll si in care mai apar si alte nume reprezentative ca Fats Domino, Carl Perkins si altii. O piesa in care ai impresia ca si pianul danseaza si ca e imposibil de crezut ca oricine asculta muzica lui Jerry Lee Lewis poate sta locului. Unul din cele mai mari hituri ale lumii face deschiderea unei serii de cantece care merita ascultate macar o data in viata.
